CC English - Payment Policy

We have included brief summaries at the beginning of each section to make it easier for you to read and understand this Agreement. The summaries do not replace the text of each section, and you should still read each section in its entirety.

1. PURCHASES AND AUTOMATICALLY RENEWING SUBSCRIPTIONS

Students will have the opportunity to purchase access to Content and Services from Intercambio. If you purchase a subscription, it will automatically renew—and you will be charged—until you cancel.

Intercambio may offer Students the ability to obtain a subscription to access Content and Services for purchase via credit card or other payment processors on the CC English Platform (“Subscription”). If you purchase a Subscription, it will automatically renew until you cancel, in accordance with the terms disclosed to you at the time of purchase, and as further described in this Agreement. If you cancel your Subscription, you will continue to have access to your Subscription benefits until the end of your Subscription period, at which point it will expire.

1.1 Subscriptions

Subscriptions are processed using the Payment Method you provide on through the CC English Platform. Subscriptions automatically renew until you cancel.

If you purchase a Subscription, you agree to pay the prices displayed to you for the Content or Services you’ve selected, and you authorize Intercambio to charge the payment method you provide (your “Payment Method”). Intercambio may correct any billing errors or mistakes even if we have already requested or received payment. If you initiate a chargeback or otherwise reverse a payment made with your Payment Method, Intercambio may terminate your account immediately in its sole discretion, on the basis that you have determined that you do not want an Intercambio Subscription. In the event that your chargeback or other payment reversal is overturned, please contact support@ccenglish.org

Your Payment Method will continue to be periodically charged for the Subscription until you cancel. After your initial Subscription commitment period, and again after any subsequent Subscription period, your Subscription will automatically continue for the price and time period you agreed to when subscribing, until you cancel.

You may edit your Payment Method information by using the settings tool in the CC English Platform. If a payment is not successfully processed, due to expiration, insufficient funds, or otherwise, you remain responsible for any uncollected amounts and authorize us to continue billing the Payment Method, as it may be updated. This may result in a change to your payment billing dates.

In addition, you authorize us to obtain updated or replacement expiration dates and card numbers for your credit or debit card as provided by your credit or debit card issuer. The terms of your payment will be based on your Payment Method and may be determined by agreements between you and the financial institution, credit card issuer, or other provider of your chosen Payment Method. Certain users may be entitled to request a refund.

1.2 Refunds

Generally, all training and resources fees are refundable, and all subscription fees are nonrefundable.

We want you to have a good experience with the CC English Platform. If you are having difficulty, please contact us at support@ccenglish.org and we will do our best to help solve any problems you are having.

1.3 Requesting a Refund for your Training and Resources Fee

V Volunteer teachers will be asked to pay a Training and Resources fee before we match you with a Student. You have 30 days from the date of your Registration Fee payment to request a refund and cancel your account. To request a refund, please email support@ccenglish.org. Please include your name, your Student’s name, and the reason you are requesting a refund.

When you request a refund, we will issue the refund to the credit card you originally paid with and cancel your account. We will attempt to match your Student with another teacher. As a courtesy to your Student, please notify them before you request a refund or cancel your account.

1.4 Cancelling your Subscription

You may cancel your Subscription and stop learning in the CC English Platform at any time. To cancel a Subscription, log in to your account and go to the Payment section of your Profile. If you cancel a Subscription, you may continue to use the cancelled service until the date that we would next charge your credit or debit card. The Subscription will not be renewed as of that date.

2. ACCOUNT TERMINATION

If you no longer wish to use the CC English Platform, or if we terminate your account for any reason, here’s what you need to know.

You can delete your account at any time by logging in to your account and going to the Payment section of your Profile.

Intercambio reserves the right to investigate and, if appropriate, suspend or terminate your account without a refund if you have violated this Agreement, misused the Content or Services, or behaved in a way that Intercambio regards as inappropriate or unlawful, on or off the CC English Platform. We reserve the right to make use of any personal, technological, legal, or other means available to enforce this Agreement, at any time without liability and without the obligation to give you prior notice, including, but not limited to, preventing you from accessing the CC English Platform.
